Caitlin Rose practices business law with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions and securities. Her practice focuses largely on private equity & venture capital investments, add-ons and divestitures, as well as cross-border M&A.
She also regularly acts on behalf of public companies and underwriters, in going public transactions, securities offerings and general securities matters.
While assisting clients in various industries, Caitlin has developed particular expertise in the IP/IT sector. She draws on this knowledge in working with the firm’s Intellectual Property and Communications practice groups.
Caitlin’s extensive public market experience includes acting for Goodfood in its going public transaction, for Lumenpulse in its initial public offering (IPO) and for a syndicate of underwriters in the IPO of Stingray.
Caitlin is regularly consulted by public issuers on continuous disclosure obligations, executive compensation and equity financings. She also advises on privatization transactions, on both the issuer and buy side.
In addition to her involvement with various committees of her alma mater, Lower Canada College, Caitlin is active with the St-Mary’s Hospital Foundation. She is a member of the Board of Young Canadians in Finance (YCIF) and former president of the organization. Caitlin is a member of the board of the Centaur Theatre, and has been Co-Head of Student Recruitment in the firm’s Montréal office since 2015.
